After 13 years, Mimi has departed to live in Virginia, and ownership has changed. We feel extremely blessed to be able to carry on her incredible legacy, and we vow to love and care for your family pets as one of our own. We also live on the site, and are here to ensure the safety and well being of every dog in the facility. We won't be changing much ... why try to fix what isn't broken? What we will be trying to do is add a couple of services if we can find the right personnel to match the great staff we currently have. We welcome any suggestions or comments.

So why is Camp Mimi special? What sets us apart from our competition?
Why should you entrust the care of your loved one(s) in our hands?

We have been serving the Fayette and Coweta County area since inception in 2006. Our facility sits on eight beautiful wooded acres, and the entire facility was built from the ground up with only one purpose in mind -- the care of your furry friend. Unlike other facilities who convert an old building into a facility for dogs, Camp Mimi was built for dogs from day one as its only purpose.

We supply every dog with a very spacious temperature-controlled run, including a covered patio, auto waterers, and access to a huge outside play area. We also have a pool … yes, an inground pool. Every weekday, we “unleash the hounds” around to the front of the facility for a two-plus hour foray into our biggest yard, including being able to play and swim in their very own pool.

Other than the pool, everything here is all natural. They have access to sticks, pinecones, and romping with other dogs. Toys are allowed in their individual runs. We stress the importance of the “pack” and socialization. Exercise and play are two things we want for each dog in daycare and boarding.

​After playing for between 6-7 hours the dogs are tired and ready for a break. At this point, they enjoy their cool runs, a cool drink, and relaxing music. We also provide Karanda beds for the dogs, although we have to admit, a lot of them enjoy the cool floor even more.

We offer baths, nails, brush outs, and make sure each doggie guest is comfortable. In the evening we feed our boarding guests their dinners and then they have one last trip outside.
We provide 24/7 care and attention to your loved ones.

Camp Mimi is AWESOME! For the past 6 years we have taken our dogs to Camp Mimi for both boarding and day camp. The large nature areas where our dogs get to socialize and the opportunity to swim in the bone shaped pool are two of our favorite reasons for going to Camp Mimi. Our dogs are usually asleep in minutes on our car ride home after having a great day of running and swimming at camp. When we travel and have to board our dogs, we really appreciate the daily posted pictures of our dogs having fun at camp. We highly recommend Camp Mimi for boarding and day camp.

To provide a safe, clean, and fun experience for our canine friends. To make sure that they want to return to us time and time again. This should be their home away from home.
